I don't even know where to start...leaving this camp was one of the hardest things this summer. In many ways this camp reminded me of my 3 English camps I went to as a student. Something about the atmosphere and people.
I have learned so much this past week. About myself and about God. It was the first time I was more involved as a leader in the group and goodness did I just love it. I have found this new passion I didn't even know about.
I've seen God work and I am so thankful to have been a part of it. I heard some amazing stories about what God has done in people's lives and I was just blown away by how big and great He is.
I also shared my testimony. I was pretty nervous about how that would go...but it turned out some people were going through the same thing so just hearing from other students that it has helped them in some way brought tears to my eyes. I have built some great relationships at that camp. :) It was also great to have an amazing team from Northern Irelant to work with us!
We've had people that came to a camp for the first time, so sharing with them about God was great. We've also had people who made the step and accepted Jesus into their hearts.
So I'm just sitting here in Brejlov thinking how blessed I am to see all of this. God doesn't need me yet He gave me this opportunity to be a part of His movement here in the Czech Republic.
To mention some not-so-great things I've been going through....my wisdom tooth is coming out, causing that my whole mouth hurts, also my teeth are moving which is, after having braces for two years, pretty depressing. I also managed to burn my leg while being on a motorcycle (for about a minute). At first I thought that's the end of my life cause of the pain. Turned out it is not the end of my life. :) But it kinda hurts and looks pretty nasty. But you know, it's gonna be a good memory of this camp :)
Please pray for us as we are now preparing our third and a last English camp. That we stay focused on why we are here.

Máme za sebou druhý kemp (Jihlava - Třebíč). Opustit ho byla jedna z nejtěžších věcí za toto léto (jak už to tak bývá). Možná se budu opakovat, ale kempy jsou opravdu super a velice těžko se odjíždí. Tento kemp mi hodně připomínal ten, na kterém jsem byla ve třech minulých letech. Zřejmě tou atmosférou a lidmi.
Za poslední týden jsem se toho hodně naučila, jak o Bohu, tak i o sobě. Bylo to poprvé, co jsem si více zakusila roli vedoucího ve skupince a bylo to super. Přes počáteční obavy jsem zjistila, že mě to strašně baví, až jsem byla sama překvapená.
Jsem strašně moc vděčná za to, že jsem mohla vidět, jak Bůh pracuje. Slyšela jsem několik příběhů o tom, co dělá Bůh v životech lidí a znovu jsem si uvědomila, jak skvělý a velký je. :)
Také jsem sdílela svoje svědectví. Měla jsem trochu obavy, jak to půjde. Modlila jsem se, aby to mohlo alespoň někoho povzbudit. Když jsem pak slyšela od některých, že jim to pomohlo, že procházejí něčím podobným, nahánělo mi to slzy do očí.
Strašně mi ty děcka přirostly k srdci. I celý český tým organizátorů a tým ze Severního Irska. Úžasná skupina lidí...
Pro několik lidí to byl první English camp, první ochutnávka toho, kdo je Bůh. A pro některé to byl English camp, na kterém udělali rozhodnutí uvěřit a přijmout Krista. A to je nepopsatelná radost!!! :) Mysleme na ně i nadále v modlitbách!
A tak tu sedím v Brejlově a řikám si, jaký je to užasný požehnání, že jsem mohla být u toho. Bůh mě nepotřebuje, a přesto mi dal tuto možnost být součástí Jeho hnutí tady v Česku.
Prosím modlete se za náš třetí a poslední kemp. At´ máme stále energii a at´ se i nadále soustředíme na to, proč jsme tu.
